I WWOOFed on an off-grid permaculture farm called Salamander Springs, named for the freshwater spring that served as the water source. It was a place full of magic, art, and love. The farm was owned by a woman named Debbie. She had a lot of knowledge about a lot of things and was a whiz with a chainsaw. On the farm there were many structures built over the years by WWOOFers, neighbors, and friends. There were two dogs, one chicken, and one rooster. After I left Salamder Springs, I made a couple water color paintings about it. These were the second and third watercolor paintings I ever made.
